Touch-latch mechanisms for handleless cabinetry. Press to release, damped on return — the part does the work so the door front stays clean.

02 — Mechanism
Press. Release. Open.
A touch latch stores the energy you give it and returns it on release. Everything that matters happens in the few millimetres behind the door front.
Press
A light push on the door front drives the plunger back and compresses the spring. No handle, no visible pull, no fingerprint on the face.
Release
Lift your finger and the catch disengages. Stored energy is handed back to the door in a single controlled movement rather than a snap.
Open
The plunger extends through its full stroke and holds the front clear of the carcase, ready to be taken by hand. The magnetic tip keeps it there.

A factory, not a trading desk
Tooling, forming, assembly and inspection are run in-house under one quality system, which is what lets us hold a specification across a production run and change it when a customer needs it changed.
Johncent was established in Guangzhou in 2016, built on a decade of prior experience in furniture fittings. We work to a “quality first, customer-oriented” standard: a documented inspection routine, a stable part-numbering system, and one engineering contact who stays with a programme from drawing to delivery.
Our range covers ten categories of cabinet hardware, from touch latches and slides through to shelf supports and connecting fittings — supplied both as catalogue parts and as customer-specific programmes.

A touch latch is judged on whether the thousandth press feels like the first. That is a question about tolerance control and material consistency, so those are the things we inspect.
